Food Fight! Grocery

Most Weekend, here, at My Blissful Journey you will find at least one review!  Whether it's a review of a product, a company, a restaurant, or online shop - I just might post it here!  Today I will jabber about Food Fight Grocery out of Portland!  It's shops like this that make me wish I lived in that area!  Lucky for me - they are also online and also ship my way!  Woot!

 

It's been several months since my first order with them and I was extremely happy with their customer service!  I ordered a few things that were on back-order or out of stock and they dropped me an email to let me know.  They said I could wait for them or they could ship them when they came in OR if I wanted to choose a different flavor of the same product they would get it out to me even sooner!  Because I was like a kid in a Candy Shop I decided to choose different flavors so they could ship my order out sooner!  It was the very first time I ordered online from a Vegan Shop!

When I got my box - I was so excited!  So many "new-to-me" products!  

About a week later they sent me another email to let me know about reviewing the products I bought on their website.  I thought this was a good thing to do so I did jot down a few of my findings for some of the products I enjoyed!

I was happy with their email correspondence and the products I purchased.  Two thumbs up!  I would consider myself a repeat customer!

I also like their site because it's a little snarky.  They have a sassy sort of attitude and personality.  NOT that they are rude because they are FAR from it - but - they have an interesting sense of humor that is right up my alley!  You'll have to read some of the product descriptions and apparel to get the jist of it.

Alive & Radiant Kale Krunch

These are one of the other Kale Chips I have tried recently.  I like them all for different reasons but with this one I really like how much of the 'batter' they put on them to really kick up the flavor on them!

As you can see they are Raw, GF, and Vegan.  They sell for around the same price as the others I have seen...but if you are in a pinch or want to splurge - have at it!

Food Fight Grocery out of Portland is where I bought these from - online.  But they say they are the best selling kale chip and I believe them!  There are three different kinds and here they are with their ingredients!

Ingredients (Quite Cheezy): Kale*, Cashew*, Red Bell Pepper, Lemon Juice*, Nutritional Yeast, Himalayan Crystal Salts. *Organic
Ingredients (Cheezy Chipotle): Kale*, Red Bell Pepper, Cashews*, Sesame Seeds*, Lemon Juice*, Nutritional Yeast, Himalayan Crystal Salt, Coconut Palm Sugar*, Paprika*, Chipotle Peppers*, Smoked Salt*.  *Organic
Ingredients (Southwest Ranch): Kale*, Cashew*, Lemon Juice*, Nutritional Yeast, Chickpea Miso*, Apple Cider Vinegar*, Habanero*, Garlic*, Spices* and Himalayan Crystal Salt. *Organic

I did the Quite Cheesy ones and LOVED them!  They are wonderful!

I wish I could buy these in bulk and for cheap.  Awesome flavor and texture! Total YUMSVILLE!

Food Fight Grocery, Weight Loss, What I've Been Up To Lately!

You've already seen some product reviews from me and you'll be seeing a lot more and soon because I have been on a shopping spree!  It all started with Food Fight Grocery out of Portland.  I have been wanting to buy from them for YEARS...but shipping just seemed to be more than it was worth.  BUT...since I have been about 99.9% vegan these days - it was NOW worth it!

My experience was a good one - I have to say - sure - they were out of a few things - but they contacted me via email in a timely fashioned and asked if I wanted to switch to a different flavor or otherwise.  Since I bought almost all new-to-me products I thought I would keep the order as-is and change to different flavor on the two items in question.

I received my shipment about a week later and everything was in perfect condition.  I was very happy.

Another thing NEW with me - is - since going from Lacto-Ovo-Veg for over 18 years to Near Vegan in the past 3 months I have worked out my digestion issues AND have lost at least 20 pounds already!  I'm a VERY happy camper!  

I also re-joined a small exercise and weight room locally that is MUCH cheaper than the local YMCA and other fitness club options but for what I will be using and doing it's JUST RIGHT.  Since I have been hella busy lately I have only been able to go about twice a week but that will be changing very soon!

TONIGHT - my mom, sister, and I are having our Holiday Open House for Wildtree and will be doing a Dessert Party!  It should be FUN!
