I know I am a little late posting this years Thanksgiving Plate but here it is.
From top - clockwise - my sister's roasted squash that she did with grapeseed oil and cinnamon - Wildtree Stuffing veganized - some Thai Curry Rice I made with the help of Wildtree's Thai Green Curry Sauce (also vegan) - mashed potatoes I made with Almond Milk - and my mom's first attempt at homemade Cranberry Sauce. It was VERY flavorful! Then there is the dinner roll in the center! Woot!
Everything was tasty! Usually I prepare more dishes for myself but with everything going on this year I didn't think ahead like I usually do but I certainly wasn't lacking for food!
HI Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteMy apologies for the lack of commenting. It's been hectic. The food look great. I made vegan and non-vegan food on Thanksgiving. As you know, my daughter isn't vegan anymore, but she still eats a lot of vegan foods. I would say in her case, meat is mainly a supplement.
Hi there! No worries at all :) Yes...it certainly HAS been hectic! I totally agree! Thanks for the feedback on the 'eats'. Everyone else at the table were meat eaters but I think everyone at least tried the dishes that were vegan so that's pretty cool! Even DH! lol
DeleteLooks wonderful and jealous you had more vegan options for Thanksgiving than I did! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Uht-Oh! Not as many for you!? Eeeeeek!
