Bites of Bliss - Carob Almond Butter Bites, Sunridge Farms Almond Butter & Cranberry Power Chews, New Earth Banana Walnut Bites

I've been stock piling some product reviews the last several months and I want to start sharing more of them with you!

I thought I would start off with 3 of them...first with this one...Bites of Bliss - Carob Almond Butter Bites!  I have reviewed the other products from Bites Of Bliss and I have LOVED everything I have tried!  One of the main reasons being that their products are WYSIWYG and many of you know that stands for What You See Is What You Get.  I think that should pertain to the foods we eat, too!  Meaning...when you look at it...you can see and identify most if not all of the ingredients.  Speaking of ingredients here is what you can expect from this gem of a product from Bites of Bliss...Organic raw dates, organic raw walnuts, organic raw almond butter, organic raw hemp seeds, organic raw carob powder, organic coconut oil, organic vanilla extract.

ORGANIC RAW VEGAN GLUTEN FREE DAIRY FREE SOY FREE NO ADDED SUGARS

As for my personal findings on this product I found it to be quite chocolatey tasting from the Carob, of course!  It was also nutty.  The vanilla contributed to the sweetness and a bit of creaminess while nibbling on this circle-shaped treat.  It has a gentle crispy crunch to it, too!  Not saying that it would be hard for someone 'watching their teeth' like my mother, for example.  If you only eat softer foods you wouldn't have a problem consuming this item!  The gentle crispy crunch is from the nuts and seeds.  The walnuts are easy to chew and are a good-size...they certainly didn't skimp on them!  The sweetness also seems to come from the Carob as well as the dates.  This is TOTALLY YUM and leaves no unpleasant aftertaste.

Another healthy snack that disappeared from my stash a while back were these little "chews" and they were FAB.

Sunridge Farms Almond Butter & Cranberry Power Chews!  YUMMO!  This isn't the bag that I received it was one I saw online so I think they had a repackaging plan going on when I received them but I didn't mind at all!  It's what's on the inside that counts.

The gentle Almond Butter Flavor really shined here!  It has a slight tartness to it which I REALLY liked - and - you guess it - the tarty flavor is from those little cranberries!  These are not vegan because they contain honey so if you are "Apia" or "Apian" Vegan this might fit into that category a bit better by definition, I suppose.  These are chewy, sweet, nutty, fruity, crispy, with a hint of saltiness to them.  They leave you with a creamy/sweet after taste which is very pleasant.  These pack a powerful punch, too!  There is no need to sit there and eat the whole bag!  2 or 3 will do you just fine!

And for my 3rd and final Snack Review today...this one might surprise you...but they are Banana Walnut Bites from New Earth.  WHY might this surprise you?  Well...I HATE bananas!!!!  Seriously can't stand them.  But I do know how good they are for you and I WANT to like them, I do!  It took me a day or two to appreciate the flavor of these - ONLY because they TOTALLY tasted like Banana!  But...After a day or two I found myself craving them, really!  Which was very surprising yet pleasing to me!  YAY!  These are Raw and Vegan and a wonderful snack!  They use Activated Walnuts, here.  They are sweet and crunchy.  Because of the flavor combo, here, they DO taste like Banana Nut Bread but in a flavored Walnut!  It's GENIUS, really!

The next time you are looking for some different snacks to try - look for these little guys!  They are VERY impressive!

CONTEST Continues, My Take on Christine's Avocado Ranch Dressing, and SPICES!

Don't forget to enter for your chance to WIN FREE CHOCOLATE from Fearless Chocolate thru Monday!

You see this lovely green goodness over here!  Well, it was inspired by Christine over at The Raw Project!  It's Avocado Ranch Dressing and I did my take on it.  You know how I have a hard time sticking to instructions - teehee - but then again - I did use some Wildtree products, too!  Here is what I did:

1 Avocado
2 T Lemon Juice
1/2 tea Wildtree Garlic Galore
1/2 tea Wildtree Onion & Chive Blend
2 T Foods Alive Nutritional Yeast
1/2 C Water

This turned out AWESOME and I want to thank Christine for the idea!  I can't wait to jump into it later today!

In other news...

I am trying to continue with kitchen cabinet organization!  TRYING being the key word!  Here you can see some of the ones I have in small jam/jelly mason jars.  LOVE them!  Wish I had 200 more!  BUT...I don't...so...I ended up working with what I have...

What I have is a lot of these glass shakers that I got at my local herb store.  I also buy in bulk there.  As much or as little as I want or need!  It's handy!

You will see some old McCormick containers, too, those I re-used and have Frontier Co-Op Bulk contents in them!

Here is another photo of another nook on the shelf that I did last night for quasi-organization. YES...I have a LOT of spices!  I actually 'chucked' at least 20 of them - off brands, really old store bought ones, etc.

I needed to do this - not only because I was having a hard time finding all of them but because I needed to reserve a space for some more things I am getting into - including SuperFoods, Raw Blends, Greens, and Vegan Protein Powders! I'm really excited to start adding some of these to my smoothies and I figured if I had a nice newly organized space I would be more apt to do that!  Fingers Crossed!

A product I would like to share with you today is Bites Of Bliss Pineapple Coconut with Chia Seeds!  You may remember my last post about my first experience with their lovely products!

My first 3 words when I bit into this were...

WOW!  Potent Pineapple!

Yes!  It was!  And I loved every bite of it!  I've always been a fan of Pineapple as well as Coconut!  I must have gotten the LOVE gene from my father as he's a fan of both of those ingredients, too!

If you have a sweet tooth - TRY THIS PRODUCT!  This flavor is INTENSELY flavorful, wonderfully sweet, extremely healthy, jam-packed with FRESH goodness and nutrition!  I absolutely LOVE it!  It is extremely sweet! Dare I say ALMOST a sweet overload?  Nah!!!!  I wouldn't change a thing about this flavor!  It's wonderful!

The Dates and Pineapple hold it together - perfectly!  The Walnuts and Coconuts add to the snap, crackle, pop, and crunch of it all!  The Chia Seeds ALWAYS pack a powerful punch of health into anything but this certainly gives you the bang for your buck!

I also have a heads-up from this GREAT company that their Bites of Bliss will be listed at an "At Cost Special" over at Raw Food World in April!  Keep an eye out!  Matt & Angela have some really awesome stuff over at their site!  Take a look!

And another bit of information I found out about these Bites of Bliss since my last review is that they are Ashley Koff Approved!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!  I have LOTS on tap and remember to scroll down for the giveaway!

Sunday Snacks and a Little Bliss

My online Yoga and Vegetarian Friends (among others) that know my name ask if it's my REAL name.  Why...YES...Yes, it IS.  My REAL Married Last Name is...BLISS.  I like to play on words when I can and I was able to with this website "My BLISSful Journey".  So when I saw the company Bites of Bliss I knew I HAD to look into them!  After corresponding with Rhonda over at Bites of Bliss I knew she was a lively soul!  She's very nice!  She sent me a few samples to try and I randomly chose the Goji Berry to try first!

Here is a little bit from their website that sums up this Blissful Product!

Bites of Bliss® Superfood Bites are certified organic, certified gluten-free, certified kosher, raw, vegan, dairy-free, soy-free and have no agave or added sugars. Each flavor has its own unique quality and can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. Bites of Bliss® can be eaten in the morning for breakfast, before exercise to provide the body with energy, after exercise to replenish nutrients, as a meal replacement, or after a meal as a delicious dessert. They also make a great addition to kid's lunchboxes.
After REALLY looking over the website (which I LOVE by the way because of all the awesome info) I also found a bit more regarding the Goji Berry Flavor specifically...

Goji Berry
Rhonda knew she wanted a fruity flavor to balance out the other two flavors. Goji Berries are similar to a cross between a cranberry and a raisin. They start off tangy and then taste mildly sweet. She would usually take goji berries in a small baggie with her to the movies to munch on instead of popcorn so it was something that was already in her pantry. In considering taste and health benefits, goji berries were the first thing that came to mind. Because they are so high in antioxidants and Vitamin C, among many other nutrients, it seemed to be the perfect choice. Mixing in the white chia seeds creates a little crunch that balances out the creaminess……….it’s pure bliss!
I'm not going to lie...I'm totally excited about all of the nutritional value these "lil-guys" pack!  It's really amazing!

In addition I found the Dates and the Goji Berry Flavors EXPLODE in your mouth right away!  Right from the start!  It had a nice overall "Berry Bite".  The Walnuts, Chia Seeds, and Hemp Seeds give it a gently crunchy and crispy texture.  The lingering fruity-flavor is the most memorable part.  It's a pure delight, really!

I found these to be a nice healthy, quick snack to take the edge off while on the go or in the workplace!  Also a very nice afternoon pick me up.  If you are looking for a little something for your sweet tooth or for a dessert...these certainly fit the bill, too!

Fantastic!

In other news, TOMORROW, is the beginning of a new week...that means a new World Foods Theme!  This next week I will be doing Foods from Algeria!  I'm excited!!!!  I hope you will come back and check it out!
