A Little Jicama Diddy...

Well, last week I really failed at reaching my personal goals for the week so I am going to carry them over to this week, instead of making a new one.  Instead of dwelling on what I didn't accomplish last week - I'd like to share one of the SIMPLE foods I did as a raw snack last week!

I Julienned some Jicama and soaked it in Lime Juice.  I then sprinkled a combo of Cayenne Flavored Kelp and GoL's Wheatgrass Powder on top.  This was pretty tasty.  I think next time I might add more Cayenne.  I enjoyed the kick of it all!

What have you done with Jicama lately!?

  1. Nothing...

I have not used jicama in a few years, but what you made looks really nice. :)

Just an FYI, to comment on your site it now requires a CAPTCHA. Sometimes it's easy to read and other times not so much...

  2. I'm not sure. Last week, Suituapui commented about that on Facebook. Judging by some of the responses others weren't aware of it either.

    1. I can't find anything in settings that changed and everything is marked 'no comment verification' and open to all to comment - even anonymous...very strange. Maybe it's because my daily hits have increased??? But it's catching all of the spam that I can see, too! Maybe it's something that Blogger is doing as a precaution or upgrade - I'll keep an eye on it tho :) thanks! Let me know if you have any other issues :)

    1. It's a treat for me because I can't find it often around here :) My mom actually spotted it and grabbed a large one for me this last time!

    1. Eventho I tend to eat this raw and with only a few other ingredients or even blend for a salad dressing I want to branch out with Jicama. I am still learning about it and combining it with other food!

It's funny eventho I haven't reached some of my goals I have been more actively learning and doing other things to enrich myself, too! WooT! Thanks for the encouragement!
