Thank you for sharing these two healing herbal teas with us at the Healthy Happy Green and Natural Party Blog Hop! I'm pinning and sharing. I hope your husband is able to find other nourishing foods that are compatible with his Crohn's Disease. I know that is challenging.Deborah Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12855258370993329133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5272366360819660834.post-53550830727662804962015-10-21T13:07:25.807-07:002015-10-21T13:07:25.807-07:00Well my husband isn't vegan or even vegetarian...Well my husband isn't vegan or even vegetarian but I think that is a great question. I know that many people have seen positive results on a high raw diet but that was said to be NOT good for my husband. So I don't know. I know what you mean, tho, it's hard to figure out. I know the author A House in the Hills (http://ahouseinthehills.com/) has Crohns and does vegan (or mostly vegan I can't remember) but something doesn't sit right with some of these people eating what they hear would be better for them compared to what doctors say. So hard to figure out which is right! I have other Essential Oil posts lately, too!

I finally got him to switch 'sugars'. He's now using Organic Raw Cane Sugar instead of store bought. Baby steps, I guess. He's been good about eliminating or at the very least cutting back on many things that bother him and his system. So that's good! For example, add dandelion tea to some type of juice. Try it out yourself to ensure that the flavor is hidden.

The more resistant he is to making changes naturally, the more dependent he will become to those drugs that suppress without addressing the cue of the disorder. There are quite a few ways he can eliminate his condition natural; however, he has to be open to change. Sorry to hear about your husband's Crohn's :( Has he heard of the Specific Carbohydrate Diet? My son has been on this diet for nearly 10 years and his symptoms went almost immediately and he hasn't had a flare since. Basically it just means eliminating all grains and sugar (apart from honey) and starchy vegetables. It's why some of my recipes have SCD next to them.Vickyhttp://glutenfreescdandveggie.blogspot.co.uknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5272366360819660834.post-84396304123364472912015-10-19T21:51:22.057-07:002015-10-19T21:51:22.057-07:00I'm a huge lover of herbal teas (studying herb...I'm a huge lover of herbal teas (studying herbal medicine at the moment and discovering the magical powers of herbs <3).
